WAKE UP, ALL !!!

Dear all UUM law students,

We just formed a UUM LAW STUDENTS group in Friendster. In this critical time, there is a necessity for us to hold a discussion about our law degree recognition by Legal Profession Qualifying Board and Bar Council. For your information, the recognition has been pending for more than one year.

All of you don’t look on with folded arms. Don’t stay in a ‘Comfort Zone’. Don’t think there is still a long way to go before you graduated. As you know, we are unable to pay for Certificate of Legal Profession (CLP) expensive examination’s fee. Not even say it is a piece of cake to score the examination with flying colors. If we are not exempted from CLP examination, do you think that there will be an exception for you?

Everyone please wake up! We refused to resign oneself to death for being waiting for so long! We need to come out with one solution as soonest possible. Please help us to spread this news to all of you. Ask them to join us! The only simple thing that you need to do is email, sms or call them.

Thank you so much for your effort!

Now, there are some new ammendments, where Sem 7 n sem 8 law paper will be marked by the external examiners..which constituted mainly from UIA law lecturers... final examination is 40% and no more 50% like last time. I think most probably the issue of whether uum law graduates will get exempted or not is depend on how well the current law graduate students doing in examination now.. thats why it takes longer time for the relevant department to consider whether uum law graduates should be exempted from CLP or not. However, those who already graduated from uum, if u all are not satisfy with the condition right now, u all can bring the issue to parliament and even sue the university. It is not logical for those who had graduated to think that u all would be black listed by the uum. What are u all scared of? Not your fault to be in a difficult situation like now (cannot do chambering straight away). The law students who are stil pursuing study in uum now cannot sue the university, because we dont have locus standi to do it right now. If those who already graduated wanted to wait us to do it, u all still have a VERY LONG TIME to wait... the best suggestion is that since u all already graduate n suffering now, u all should take action against the university, the issue of blacklisted is not an issue, unless u all WOULD PREFER N LIKE TO SACRIFICE YOUR OWN FUTURE IN ORDER TO WAIT UNTIL THE UNIVERSITY MESS UP YOUR FUTURE, N U ALL STILL WANT TO MAINTAIN THE " GOOD N HARMONY" RELATIONSHIP WITH UNIVERSITY. I am not wanted to offend anybody, just want to express my own view and give u all the ideas in regard of this matter.Dont ever ever feel offended n angry of my view. May God Bless U All!
